ABOUT THE CAMPSITE
Welcome to Twll Y Clawdd Touring and Camping Park! We’re just ten minutes from the base of Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) and five minutes from the historic town of Caernarfon, so whether you're into hiking or sightseeing, there's plenty to enjoy nearby.
We have 35 grass pitches for tents and tourers, with electric pitches available, plus a cosy bell tent that sleeps up to four. Dogs are very welcome here too, and we’ve got an enclosed field where they can run free. You’ll also be just a short ten minute drive from the coast, perfect for when the sun is out!
ABOUT THE SITE
Ideal for couples and families, we offer a peaceful getawat in the Gwynedd countryside. We're in a great spot too, just ten minutes from the heart of Snowdonia National Park (Eryri) for all you outdoor lovers, and only five minutes from Caernarfon for a day out with the family.
Our site is home to 35 grass pitches across two fields – some are gently sloping – and you can choose between electric or non-electric. If glamping is more your thing, our bell tent might be perfect. It sleeps four on a double bed and two singles, with proper mattresses and all your bedding provided. There’s an electric heater to keep things cosy, fairy lights for that little extra sparkle, and even a fire pit with seating outside (plus your first bag of logs is on us!).
Up to five dogs can join you for your stay, unless staying in the bell tent. There is even a dog walking area and doggy shower.
The site is from the 1st of March to the 31st of October.

FACILITIES
There’s a heated shower block with three showers and toilets on each side (seperate for men and women). The ladies also have a baby changing area. Showers are on a push button (not coin operated) and each cubicle has a curtain, a bench seat, and a hook for your things. You’ll also find sinks, mirrors, hand dryers and plug sockets – all free to use.
Dogs aren’t allowed inside the shower block, but we do have an outdoor dog shower and a dog walking area for your furry friends.
There’s also a washing-up area, plus coin-operated laundry machines. If you need ice blocks frozen, just pop into reception and we’ll help you out.
Cegin Fach Emma at the top of the drive serves up lovely home-cooked roasts and desserts – just book ahead! The Y Glyntwrog Inn and Penbont Inn are both around a 15-minute walk, and there’s a Co-op and Spar just five minutes away for any essentials.

Grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook ups, some on a gentle slope. Suitable for units up to 12m including tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes (10m max unit size). Electric is metered and paid for onsite using a prepay card.

Bell Tent
Bell tent with a double bed and two singles, plus all bedding. Outside is a fire pit with a bag of logs, along with a dining table and chairs. Comes with an electric hook-up and access to shared facilities. Sorry, no dogs allowed.
